Summer Safety

Please review all BGCSWC safety procedures and protocols below.

Policies for the Protection of Youth

Safety is the foundation of everything we do. We pride ourselves in our extensive safety policies. All employees and volunteers are background checked, finger printed, and trained to work with large groups of youth. Child Safety

Identification

To ensure all youth are safe, we require all parents/guardians and/or adults that enter our facility to have proper identification on them at all times. This allows our staff to confirm who is authorized to sign-out each child. In the Parent Portal, ensure you have entered all adults that are authorized to sign-out your child.

Anti-Bullying Policy

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems.

Children who are found to be bullying may be suspended or removed from the program.
