RCDPSS: Health Care Coverage

Health care is crucial for you and your family. If you or your family has limited income, Medi-Cal provides health coverage for no or low-cost and offers comprehensive coverage, including mental health resources.

It's Up to Us: Women's Health

Whether you are in crisis or just need someone to talk to, all services are voluntary. Counseling and nursing, as well as, psychiatric medications are available. All locations are open 24/7 and everyone is welcome regardless of insurance type or ability to pay.

Vision To Learn

Vision To Learn was founded to make sure every child has the glasses they need to succeed in school and in life. Its mobile clinics solve the problem by bringing eye exams and glasses, free of charge, to children at schools in underserved communities.

RCDPSS: CalFresh Food Assistance

CalFresh puts food-buying power into the hands of working-class households. With CalFresh, you can buy healthy food to meet your household’s needs.

Dream Center Pantry

By meeting immediate physical needs of food and household items, the DC Pantry provides people with a connection to a community of support and an on-ramp to a transformational process toward self-sufficiency.

Housing & Utility Programs

RCDPSS: Housing Help

RCDPSS works with county and community partners to provide wrap-around services that help at-risk adults and families find a path forward. We offer cash and housing assistance, such as access to hotel/motel vouchers.

SWAG seeks to transform the way society approaches homelessness by restoring humanity, one person at a time.

United Lift Rental Assistance

United Lift Rental & Utility Assistance Program is a coordinated effort between Riverside County, Inland SoCal United Way and Lift To Rise to support Riverside County families and residents financially impacted by COVID-19 through direct rental and utility assistance.

National CORE

National CORE support families and seniors by providing housing communities that are affordable, safe, and of the highest quality. Enhancing neighborhood stability through long-term management and maintenance, as well as industry-leading services like senior wellness, preschool and afterschool programs, and family financial training.

Unlocking Opportunities

National CORE and Hope through Housing provide permanent supportive housing for vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, veterans, developmentally disabled adults, and transitional age youth.

Project Touch

Project T.O.U.C.H. operates a winter shelter and a year round transitional housing program serves children, women, men, emancipated foster youth, domestic violence victims, seniors, mentally and physically disabled, veterans, and entire families. Programs provide case management, employment help, transportation, food, clothing, and medical assistance.

Habitat Homeownership

Our homeownership program is designed to assist low-income, first-time homebuyers achieve their dream of homeownership. Habitat homes are sold to partner homebuyers at no profit and financed with affordable loans. In addition to a down payment and monthly mortgage payments, homeowners invest Sweat Equity Hours building their future Habitat home and the homes of other Habitat Homebuyers.

Critical Home Repair

CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) funds have been awarded to Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley to administer critical home maintenance and repairs. Through this program, Habitat for Humanity will serve lower-income homeowners with either preventative home maintenance or critical home repair services.

A Brush With Kindness

A Brush With Kindness is a low-cost exterior home repair program available to low-income homeowners throughout the Inland Valley. Through this program, we are able to assist with exterior painting, landscaping, weed abatement, and other minor exterior repairs. ABWK helps homeowners impacted by age, disability, and family circumstances, who struggle to maintain the exterior of their homes.

The Low Income Home Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP)

LIHWAP is a temporary emergency program administered by the Community Action Partnership of Riverside County. This program helps low-income families with assistance on past due water and sewer bills – up to $2,000.

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

LIHEAP is an additional utility assistance program and provides utility payment assistance and weatherization services to eligible low-income customers in Riverside County, including the City of Riverside.
