The Boys &
Girls Clubs of Southwest County, founded in 1990, is a
non-profit youth development agency devoted to the kids
of the Southwest County of Riverside California.
It is a
well-known fact that the Southwest Valley is one of the
fastest growing communities in the State of California
today! Nearly 40% of the current population in this
community is under 18 years of age, and as the community
grows, the needs of our youth are also growing.
Many of the
youth in our community come from dual income homes and
when the school bell rings at 3 p.m. the Boys & Girls
Club is available to provide a safe place to learn and
grow.
In order to
keep membership and program fees affordable for families
in need the clubs fees only cover a portion of the
actual costs necessary to provide services. The Boys &
Girls Clubs of Southwest County provides one-third of
its members with financial aid through reduced and
waived tuition “scholarships”.
Not only
does the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County provide
programs at the Temecula and Murrieta sites, but also at
our middle school sites, where youth can participate in
after-school programs at a very minimal or no cost at
all.
